Clark Pinnacle Charity Golf Tournament Raises $89,000 for Monterey Bay Schools and Local Boy Scout Troop
Monterey, CA. - Clark Pinnacle, the U.S. Navy’s and Army’s housing privatization partner, hosted a Charity Golf Tournament on
Nov. 18 at the Monterey Pines Golf Course in Monterey, Calif. At the awards ceremony, Clark Pinnacle donated $32,500 to La
Mesa Elementary, $32,500 to Marshall Elementary, $13,000 to Fitch Middle School and $5,000 to Boy Scout Troop #135. More than
140 golfers participated in the four-person scramble, including teams from the Defense Language Institute, the Naval
Postgraduate School, the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District, representatives from Clark Pinnacle and the many
consulting and subcontracting firms working on the military housing revitalization efforts at La Mesa Village and Ord
Military Community.

“We are honored to be a part of a process that is renewing and rebuilding the military communities here in Monterey,” said
Francis Coen, project director for Clark Realty Capital. “We recognize the sacrifices today’s military families make and
are thankful that we can give something back. Donating to the local schools benefits both the military community and the
Monterey Peninsula community in its entirety."
Fundraising for the event exceeded the organizers’ expectations as donations continued to be received following the
tournament. This allowed the committee to contribute to two other worthy local organizations. The Seaside JROTC program and
the Presidio of Monterey Youth Sports program each received $3,000 from tournament proceeds.

“We owe a lot of thanks to our sponsors, players and friends who really saw the chance to help and did so in such a big way,”
said Jason Clarke, investment manager for Pinnacle Realty Management. “As a corporate neighbor on the Monterey Peninsula, we
are aware of the role we play in giving back to the communities in which we serve. Events such as this are part of our
overall mission to enhance the communities in which we live and work.”
Clark Pinnacle is working in unison with the Department of the Navy and the Department of the Army to develop its plans for
The Parks at Monterey Bay, the renamed military housing located on the Presidio of Monterey and La Mesa Village in Monterey
and at the Ord Military Community in Seaside. Clark Pinnacle is a joint venture between Clark Realty Capital, an
award-winning real estate development and construction firm in Bethesda, Md., and Pinnacle, American Management Services
Company, a national leader in third-party fee management of investment real estate based in Seattle, Wash.
